Back in UK! Ooh....

In July we made our first trip back to Ole Blighty since we moved over to Aus in 2005. We made an effort to see all the people and places we missed, and to see whether we did indeed make the right decision to move to Aus. Here are some of the things we did.

Me, Dad and Diana in Cheltenham. We spent our first full day in this lovely little town. It was so nice to see all the old buildings, oldy worldy things are severly lacking in Aus!

Dad in the grounds of Cheltenham Cathederal, looking his casual and summery self!

We managed to get to Birmingham in time to celebrate Andy's dad, Colin's 60th birthday. As Andy's birthday wasn't too far away we were suprised by this great MINI cake, made in the image of our own Yellow MINI Cooper S.

This is the funky MINI Cake. It tasted great too!

Karen and Mark's Daughter, Isabel. (Andy's 2nd Cousin)

Colin's Birthday was a great opportunity to meet all the Brown family!

Colin enjoying a bit of quiet time! That day was beautiful weather and I managed to get sun burnt! Forgot the sun cream, not used to using it in the UK!

Andy Enjoying the sun shine!

Andy is wearing a great Mini T-Shirt that we found in NEXT.

Clothing in the UK seems so much more varied and interesting. It was great to have so much variety but with a limited luggage allowance, we couldn't buy that much.

The next generation of the Brown/Hodgkinson family! Karen, Mark and Isabel.

Colin, Marlyn, Naomi, Andy and Stu, enjoying a walk in Sutton Park. No change there! Sutton park is exactly as we left it. Green and full of space......

Colin and Andy.
